Goa, Oct. 3 -- India is preparing to seek the impeachment of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi following the post-match controversy at the Asia Cup 2025 final in Dubai. The BCCI accused Naqvi of breaching ceremonial protocols and neglecting his responsibilities as ACC chief.
The issue arose after Naqvi allegedly bypassed formal procedures during the trophy presentation, refusing to hand the trophy and medals to the Indian team. India had requested an Emirati official to present the awards, but Naqvi left with the trophy instead.
