Mapusa, June 4 -- Bangladeshi National Sent to Judicial Custody in Mapusa Dacoity Case

The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Mapusa has remanded Mohammad Nazir, a Bangladeshi national, to 14 days' judicial custody in connection with the high-profile Mapusa dacoity case.

Nazir was brought to Goa on a transfer warrant from Delhi after being apprehended in a joint operation conducted by the Goa Police and the Delhi Special Cell. Following his production before the court, the JMFC ordered that he be sent to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
