Goa, Sept. 3 -- Months after allegations of theft involving donations to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya came to light and triggered sustained criticism from Opposition parties against the BJP-led Central government, the trust overseeing the temple has begun implementing structural changes.

The key change is the proposed appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the temple's administrative and financial affairs. Under the new arrangement, these responsibilities will no longer rest primarily with the head of the temple trust.
