Avoiding AI tools at the workplace? Your layoff risk may be 3 times higher
Goa, June 20 -- Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming workplaces around the world, and a new report suggests it may also be influencing who stays employed. According to a study by Gallup, technology professionals who regularly use AI tools are significantly less likely to be laid off than those who rarely use them or avoid them altogether.
The findings are based on a survey of more than 23,000 working Americans and indicate that AI literacy is becoming an increasingly valuable workplace skill. Gallup found that technology employees who use AI tools at least once a month face only a 6 per cent risk of being laid off.
