Goa, June 26 -- In a recurring incident, authorities have discovered yet another cannabis plant growing within the premises of Tonca Green Acres Hall in Caranzalem, raising concerns about potential illegal cultivation in the area.

Local police were alerted after the suspicious plant was noticed by residents. Preliminary inspection confirmed it to be a cannabis plant, and it has since been seized for further investigation.

This is not the first such discovery in the area, and residents have now called on law enforcement to increase surveillance and ensure that the premises are regularly inspected.

Authorities are investigating whether the plant was deliberately cultivated or grew accidentally. No arrests have been made so far.
