Goa, June 12 -- Residents of Zor-Vaddo in Anjuna have been grappling with a severe water shortage for the past six to eight months, with little to no relief in sight. Despite the arrival of the monsoon, over 25 households in Ward 5 continue to struggle for access to clean drinking water.

Locals report that the Public Works Department (PWD) pipeline supply has been reduced to a mere trickle and frequently runs dry, leaving families dependent on alternative-and often unreliable-sources. The issue is further compounded by the area's elevated terrain, which hampers water flow.
