Goa, Aug. 1 -- A Goa court has remanded Kailasa, an Odisha native arrested in the Anjuna NDPS case, to 14 days of judicial custody. He was apprehended during a police raid at Gaunwadi, Anjuna, where officers allegedly recovered 950 grams of ganja valued at around Rs.1 lakh from his possession. Following the seizure, police registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The accused was produced before the court, which ordered judicial custody for two weeks. PSI Navneet Goltekar is leading the ongoing investigation into the case.
