Goa, June 14 -- The Anjuna Police have registered a case against the manager of a local club for allegedly playing music beyond permissible noise levels, in violation of established noise pollution regulations.
The action follows complaints about loud music being played late into the night, disturbing the peace in the area. Authorities confirmed that the sound levels exceeded legal limits, prompting the case to be filed under relevant provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules.
Police have stated that further investigation is underway and warned other establishments to comply with noise control norms to avoid similar action.
