Goa, July 11 -- An ambulance caught fire on Thursday evening while returning from duty at Naibag, Satarda, causing panic in the vicinity. The vehicle was suddenly engulfed in flames under unexpected circumstances, but swift action by emergency services prevented the situation from escalating.

Responding to the emergency call, a team from the Pernem Fire and Emergency Services, led by Assistant Officer Prashant Dhargalkar, reached the scene quickly. Firefighters Yashwant Naik, Sahadev Parab, Rajesh Parab, Indrakumar Parab, and Shailesh Haldankar played a crucial role in bringing the blaze under control.

Thanks to their prompt intervention, the fire was contained before it could spread or cause additional damage. No injuries were reported...
