ALDONA, April 19 -- Several pressing civic concerns, including road repairs, garbage management, illegal constructions, and water scarcity, were discussed at the Aldona Gram Sabha, which witnessed participation from over 100 members.

Aldona MLA Adv Carlos Ferreira infored the gram sabha members that files related to road works have already been submitted to the concerned authorities, and hotmixing of roads will be undertaken soon across the constituency. He clarified that due to lack of funds with the panchayat, road works are being executed through the Public Works Department (PWD). Gram Sabha members urged that pending pothole patchwork be completed before the onset of the monsoon, to which the panchayat assured timely action.
