Goa, Aug. 6 -- Residents of Airway Colony at Vidyanagar in Zuarinagar-Sancoale have warned that they may be compelled to stop the ongoing highway expansion work if proper access to their homes is not restored.

The warning was issued during a meeting attended by local residents, Panch Santosh Dessai and BJP Cortalim Mandal Prabhari Deepak Naik, where concerns were raised over the revised road alignment linked to the highway project.

According to residents, the new alignment has reduced the access road to their colony to less than three metres, despite the approved subdivision plan providing for a 10-metre-wide road.
