News Article, July 17 -- Air India has successfully completed precautionary inspections of the fuel control switch (FCS) locking mechanism across its entire fleet of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, with no irregularities detected, according to officials from the Tata Group-owned airline.

The inspections were conducted following a directive issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Monday, which mandated airlines to check the FCS on specific Boeing aircraft models by July 21.
