Goa, July 10 -- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has directed all 14 Indian Super League (ISL) clubs to confirm their participation for the upcoming season by July 20, while also paying the first instalment of the league participation fee.

In an email sent to the clubs on Thursday, AIFF Deputy Secretary General M. Satyanarayan stated that each club must submit written confirmation of participation along with the first instalment of Rs 55 lakh. The federation described both requirements as mandatory prerequisites for taking part in the country's premier football competition.
