Goa, July 28 -- Advocate Prabha Naik has strongly objected to the display of a placard reading "Free Umar Khalid" during the Youth Victory Celebration held at Azad Maidan following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The event was organised to celebrate what participants described as a victory for the nationwide movement demanding accountability over the alleged NEET paper leak.

Naik alleged that the display of the placard was an attempt to divert attention from the core issues surrounding the NEET protests and mislead the focus of the movement.
