Goa, Oct. 6 -- An unusual security breach occurred at the Supreme Court on Monday when an elderly man attempted to throw a shoe at Chief Justice BR Gavai. The shoe did not reach the bench, and the man was quickly taken into custody. The Chief Justice, unfazed, reassured, "I am the last person to be affected by such things," before continuing with the day's hearings.

Witnesses reported the man shouted slogans about Sanatan before the incident. He was identified as Kishore Rakesh, who possessed a Supreme Court proximity card, allowing access to lawyers and clerks. Authorities are investigating his intentions.
