Goa, Oct. 5 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders held a volunteers' meeting at Raia on Saturday, during which they strongly criticised the current political scenario in Goa and called for active participation to bring about systemic change in the upcoming elections.
AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal alleged that Goa's politics has become "dirty" with the rise of "gundaraj", where fear is created and individuals are threatened for speaking out. He said AAP volunteers faced intimidation while conducting drives against poor road conditions. Citing the attack on social activist Rama Kankonkar, Kejriwal claimed the government had failed to investigate the incident or uncover its motives.
