Goa, Aug. 18 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ST Wing President Rajesh Gaonkar has demanded that the BJP-led government provide the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community with weekly updates on the progress towards political reservation for the community in Goa.

Gaonkar urged the government to ensure that the reservation process is not delayed and to announce the Assembly constituencies to be reserved for the ST community at the earliest.

He accused the BJP of playing with the sentiments of the ST community and called on the government to provide greater clarity and transparency on the status of the reservation process.
