India, Feb. 9 -- The Directorate of Transport, Goa, has issued a fresh office order directing all registering authorities in the state to stop accepting Aadhaar cards and Leave & Licence or rent agreements as valid proof of address for vehicle registration. The decision marks a significant change in documentation requirements for vehicle owners. Officials have asked registration offices to strictly follow the revised guidelines while processing applications. Citizens are advised to check the updated list of acceptable address-proof documents before visiting transport offices to avoid inconvenience or delays.
