Goa, June 15 -- The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is gearing up for a large-scale teacher recruitment drive that is expected to fill nearly 60,000 vacancies in Basic Education Council schools across the state.

The initiative aims to tackle the shortage of teachers in both urban and rural government schools and improve classroom staffing levels.According to officials, vacancy details from urban areas have already been submitted to the commission, while data from rural districts is currently being compiled.
