Goa, July 28 -- A sudden dip in oxygen pressure at the Trauma Ward of Jalandhar's Civil Hospital on Sunday night has allegedly led to the deaths of three patients, sparking panic among hospital staff and prompting a formal inquiry by health authorities.

The incident occurred around 8 PM, reportedly due to a technical fault during the oxygen supply changeover process. Though the disruption was brief, it is suspected to have contributed to the deaths of three critically ill patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh rushed to the hospital soon after the incident and assured the public that a thorough investigation would be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of the mishap.
