Goa, June 15 -- The 18th June Kranti Din Samiti has unveiled a series of competitions and commemorative events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Goa Revolution Day on June 18, 2026, honouring the historic 1946 freedom movement led by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia against Portuguese rule in Goa.

As part of the celebrations, the committee has organised an essay writing competition for students of Classes VIII to X, an inter-school patriotic song singing competition, and a drawing competition for students from Classes I to X. In addition, meritorious students who secured first rank in their respective schools in the SSC examination will be felicitated during the programme.
