Goa, Aug. 5 -- All 13 Indian crew members aboard an India-flagged cargo vessel were rescued after the ship overturned and sank in the Red Sea off Yemen's western coast following a projectile attack on Tuesday.

The vessel, MSV Faize Noore Oliya, was carrying a crew of 14, comprising 13 Indian sailors and one Yemeni national. According to Yemeni authorities, all crew members were safely rescued and provided medical assistance.

The attack occurred around 13 nautical miles south of the Houthi-controlled port city of Hodeidah. Yemeni National Resistance Force, also known as the Guards of the Republic, said its coast guard and naval units conducted a joint rescue operation to evacuate the crew from the sinking vessel.
