Goa, Aug. 26 -- Chief Minister announced on Monday that the Porvorim road will remain open for traffic until the fifth day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Following the festive period, a detailed traffic management plan will be implemented before closing the stretch for ongoing flyover construction works.

The announcement brings relief to commuters and devotees during the festival, ensuring smoother travel. Authorities will coordinate with traffic police and contractors to enforce the closure in a phased and organized manner post-festival.
