Goa, Jan. 23 -- Bangladesh's former foreign minister Mohammed Hasan Mahmud has launched a sharp attack on the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus, warning of worsening violence, attacks on minorities and a "deeply compromised" election process ahead of the February 12 polls. In an interview, the senior Awami League leader described the current situation as "more horrible than a horror movie," citing lynchings, attacks on Hindus and other minorities, and a breakdown of law and order.
