Goa, Jan. 12 -- Goa Forward leader Ajay Kholkar has strongly rejected allegations that the ongoing agitation in Chimbel is being funded by vested interests. Calling the claims baseless, Kholkar said such serious accusations must be supported with clear names and credible proof. He warned that if the accuser fails to disclose the alleged funder, he and others would be forced to bring the matter of alleged land dealings before senior leader Rudolf Fernandes. Emphasising that the protest is rooted in genuine local concerns, Kholkar said residents of Chimbel would not accept attempts to malign the agitation.
