Goa, July 20 -- Surely good news for Remo Fernandes fans, as the renowned Indian pop and rock icon is now on the road to recovery after undergoing urgent burr hole surgery to treat a life-threatening brain condition following a fall in Spain.
The 71-year-old musician initially felt fine after falling in his hotel room, but in the weeks that followed, he developed persistent headaches and balance issues. An MRI scan later revealed a progressively worsening subdural hematoma - a condition in which blood collects between the brain and skull, dangerously increasing cranial pressure.
