Goa, Aug. 23 -- BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla has firmly denied any ongoing retirement plans for senior cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, stating that the two are still very much a part of India's ODI setup. His comments come amid swirling rumours suggesting the duo could be nearing the end of their international careers, particularly after stepping away from Tests and T20Is.

During a media interaction, Shukla was asked whether Kohli and Rohit would receive grand farewells akin to Sachin Tendulkar's. In response, he said,

"Where have they retired? Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are still playing one-day cricket. Why are we already discussing farewells?"
