control group:Oxytocin + Placebo
After delivery of the second fetus, oxytocin 10 IU was administered intravenously in 500 mL of normal saline, concurrently with a placebo injection given intramuscularly (IM) into the anterior wall of the uterine body, using the same injection volume as that of Ergometrine.
