Brief Summary: Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a chronic, non-specific intestinal inflammatory disease of unknown cause, featuring abdominal pain, diarrhea, and bloody stools. Endoscopy shows diffuse, continuous lesions with erosion and shallow ulcers, worst in the rectum and diminishing proximally.
