Brief Summary: This study will examine whether patients' ability to perform everyday physical activities before lung surgery is related to their risk of developing lung complications after surgery. It will include adults scheduled for surgery to remove part or all of a lung.

* Is lower physical function before surgery associated with a higher risk of lung complications afterward?
* Can information reported by patients improve risk assessment when added to routine clinical information?
