U.S., Aug. 22 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07134777) titled 'Mechanisms of Visual Restoration After Occipital Stroke' on July 29.
Brief Summary: This project will collect brain imaging data to quantify the effects of early visual cortex damage and visual training interventions on the structure and function of the residual visual system. Our goal is to improve understanding of the consequences of permanent visual cortex damage in humans, and to understand how visual training impacts the function of the residual visual system to restore perception.
