Brief Summary: This study will compare intravenous magnesium sulfate with intravenous lidocaine for reducing the cardiovascular response to endotracheal intubation in adult patients undergoing general anesthesia. Eligible participants will receive either magnesium sulfate or lidocaine before endotracheal intubation.
