U.S., Oct. 28 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07896889) titled 'Cardiac CT Angiography in Acute Stroke Imaging (SCOPE-CT)' on Oct. 19.

Brief Summary: Stroke can occur when a blood clot travels to the brain and blocks blood flow. In some patients, these blood clots may originate in the heart. Standard emergency stroke imaging typically includes a CT scan of the head and CT angiography (CTA) of the head and neck, but does not routinely include imaging of the heart.
