U.S., May 1 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07559851) titled 'Ablation With Systemic Therapy vs Liver Resection With Systemic Therapy for Colorectal Liver Metastasis' on April 24.
Brief Summary: For patients with colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) ≤5 cm, Clinical guidelines recommend surgery, but a growing number of studies have shown that thermal ablation is as effective as surgery. However, the optimal treatment strategy remains unclear. This study aimed to compare outcomes between patients who underwent ablation with systemic therapy or liver resection with systemic therapy for CRLM less than 5 cm in diameter.
