Decades of Health Progress
In 1960, the average life expectancy for Armenian women was 62.15 years, while men typically lived to 56.12 years. Over the following quarter century, consistent improvements saw these numbers rise steadily. By 1986, female life expectancy had reached 70.47 years, and male expectancy hit 64.03 years.
