Dehradun, Oct. 22 -- On this occasion, Chief Guest DIG Nishith Chandra, Deputy Director (Administration), ITBP Academy, paid homage to the immortal martyrs of the country by laying a wreath at the Martyrs' Memorial in the academy campus. During the programme, the names of all the brave officers of the State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces across the country who were martyred in the line of duty from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025, were read out. Following this, all the officers and personnel of the academy observed a two-minute silence and paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs.
