Dehradun, 27 Oct: BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt today welcomed the Uttarakhand Government's Supplementary Budget for 2026-27 presented in the state assembly today and described it as a significant step towards accelerating development and public welfare.

In a statement issued today, Bhatt said that the supplementary budget of Rs 7,844.18 crores has been prepared keeping in view the state's development requirements, public welfare programmes and future needs, and will provide both momentum to development works and financial strength to key welfare schemes. With the supplementary budget, the state's total budget size has increased to Rs 1,19,547.39 crores.
