Sir, It is gathered from various local newspapers that, during the monsoon season, residents are invariably subjected to several perennial civic problems, including damaged roads, waterlogged footpaths, potholes, open drains, accumulation of garbage, and inadequate pedestrian pathways. Unfortunately, many of these problems are being faced by the residents of Dalanwala too. I would, however, like to draw the attention of residents and institutions located in Dalanwala to yet another issue that deserves consideration. The roads in this historic area, many of which were laid during the British period, are already narrow, and several stretches have little or no provision for safe pedestrian movement. ...
