Mussoorie, 5 Aug: The incessant rain in Mussoorie, is now proving to be life-threatening for residents. On Wednesday morning, a large section of the hillside suddenly collapsed onto the government quarters located within the Mussoorie SDM's office complex. A massive boulder struck the stone wall of one of the quarters, causing significant damage to the structure. Employee Govind Singh Negi, his wife, and their young child were inside the room at the time of the incident. Fortunately, the entire family had a narrow escape, though his wife sustained minor injuries.
