Mussoorie, July 28 -- Incessant torrential rain is increasingly posing a threat to residential areas in Mussoorie. Following heavy rainfall in the Husainganj area, a section of the main road collapsed, putting two houses at risk. The incident has sparked panic in the locality, with residents fearing a potential major disaster. Reports state that the road collapse caused a large volume of debris to slide onto Devendra Singh Bharti's house. The debris entered the home, damaging household belongings. Meanwhile, the retaining wall of the road near Murari Lal's house has also been damaged. Locals warn that, if the rains continue, the houses could face serious danger.
