Dehradun, Jan. 10 -- Dehradun Cyber Police Station have registered two separate First Information Reports (FIRs), one of which involves the creation of deepfake videos featuring the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister. A case has come to light in which artificial intelligence (AI) technology was used to generate deepfake videos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in connection with the sensitive Ankita Bhandari murder case. In the other instance, a complaint has also been lodged regarding the spread of obscenity on social media platforms using AI technology. Dehradun Police have registered both cases at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Dehradun.
