Dehradun, 13 Mar: With just about half a month remaining for the financial year 2025-26 to end, the Dehradun Municipal Corporation (Doon Nagar Nigam) has intensified its efforts to recover property tax dues. The Nagar Nigam has stepped up its campaign to ensure maximum collection before the close of the financial year and is continuously contacting defaulters while issuing notices for payment. Camps are also being organised in different wards to facilitate tax collection.

In this regard, Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal has directed officials to launch a special drive for property tax recovery. So far in the current financial year, the Corporation has collected around Rs 57 crores as revenue...
