Mussoorie, 2 Oct: Thanks to a series of holidays and the weekend, Mussoorie is bustling with tourists. The tourism sector is thriving with the lively presence of visitors at hotels, markets, and tourist spots; however, the massive influx of tourist vehicles has put the city's traffic system to the test. A traffic jam stretching several kilometres at 'Pani Wala Bend' on the Mussoorie-Dehradun route caused hours of inconvenience for both tourists and locals. Long queues of vehicles also formed at the city's main intersections. The congestion delayed tourists in reaching their destinations and disrupted the daily routines of local residents.
