Mussoorie, 15 Apr: Councillor Geeta Kumai stated today that residents living in the Mall Road area are facing difficulties in accessing their own homes during restricted hours. Local residents are being stopped at barriers, which is adversely affecting their daily lives. A proposal regarding this matter was submitted as early as 2004 yet, to this day, no concrete action has been taken. She has demanded that local residents be issued passes allowing them entry at least once during the restricted hours. She further noted that the boundary wall of the Garg Dispensary-constructed by the Municipal Council-has collapsed, compromising security and heightening the risk of encroachment.
