Dehradun, 31 Aug: A press conference was held today in Dehradun to announce an initiative aimed at preserving and promoting Uttarakhand's native languages - Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari - through Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project seeks to connect present and future generations with their mother tongues and keep them alive in the digital era.
On this occasion, AI Architect Sachidanand Semwal stated, "This initiative will prove to be a milestone for our regional languages. Future generations will now be able to speak, write, and learn in Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsari using AI tools like ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini."
