Dehradun, 2 Apr: Science laboratories in MB Government PG College, Haldwani, and Government PG College, Kotdwar, operating under the Higher Education Department, will be upgraded into hi-tech facilities. A total amount of Rs 4 crore has been released for the upgrade of laboratories in these two institutions.

The laboratories will be modernised with the support of IIT Kanpur to provide students with advanced experimental and research-based training using modern equipment.

State Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, in a statement to the media, said that the government is continuously promoting academic quality, innovation, and experimental and research activities in higher education. As ...
