Dehradun, 23 Sep: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) released the book, "Amare Jaunsari Geet", by folk artist Dr Nandlal Bharti, at the Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday.

In this book, Dr Bharti has compiled Jaunsari folk songs based on his 40 years of experience. Through these songs, he has attempted to bring before the people the characteristics, virtues, and social concerns connected with society. The songs also include references to the glory of the presiding Deity Mahasu Devta and various regional development schemes.
