Haridwar, 23 Aug: Addressing a gathering of Seers at the ancient Avdhoot Mandal Ashram in Haridwar, today, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasised the power and necessity of "One Nation, One Election". Describing frequent elections as a hindrance to the country's progress, he urged the ascetic community to raise public awareness for this constitutional change.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present and joined the Union Minister in expressing his support for the cause.
