Mussoorie, 13 Jul: A significant step was taken on Monday to provide major relief to local residents affected by the proposed ropeway project connecting Purukul (Dehradun) to Library Chowk (Mussoorie). Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi laid the foundation stone for an alternative motorable road-costing Rs 1.31 crore -to serve the residential area located above the ropeway's lower terminal in Purukul village. This road will ensure smooth movement for locals during the ropeway's construction and provide improved road connectivity for the area in the future.
