Dehradun, May 30 -- Former Director General of the Health Department in Uttarakhand has sought urgent government intervention towards overhaul of medical emergency and trauma care infrastructure in view of a recent Supreme Court order. In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary today, former Director General (DG) Health & Director of Medical Education, Dr RP Bhatt pointed out the urgent need for Uttarakhand government to comply with the Supreme Court (SC) directives mandating comprehensive overhaul of emergency medical response system.
